Halona Cove

This cove is situated to the right of the Halona Blowhole. The cove has a small sandy beach that is great for swimming when the surf is calm. The cove is probably best known as the site of the famous love scene between Burt Lancaster and Deborah Kerr in the 1953 movie, From Here to Eternity.

No easy access to the beach

No bathrooms or shower facilities available

Do not swim during rough surf

No Lifeguards

North of Haunama Bay off the Kalanianaole Highway. The beach can be seen and reached from a rather steep path starting at the Halona Blowhole Lookout parking lot.
