Beautiful volcanic soil and splendid views top off this hike. A good portion of this trail are on back road of Kaena Point tracking station. You must have a permit to do this hike
Take H1 west bound until it deadend into Farrington Highway. Continue on Farrington Highway through Waianae and Makaha. Turn right into the Kaena Point Tracking Station. You will park at the top of this road in a bare parking lot.
