Hike into an enchanting valley and follow one of the most magnificent streams on Maui to a network of pools and cascading waterfalls! Choose from the following 3-hour, half, or full day adventures:
3-Hour Hike: Explore West Maui’s wilderness valley of pools and waterfalls, as you follow an isolated stream through a forested valley to the top of a triple cascading falls. You’ll have an opportunity to swim in the pools beneath the small waterfalls. Then, climb down a banyan tree’s roots to a magical spot and shower under a hidden 15-foot falls. Hotel Pick-Up is available for the Half-Day Hike for an additional charge (see below for pricing information/booking). Rated: Easy, 1 mile
Half Day Hike: You will drive 25 miles along the historic Hana Highway, a road famous for its lush tropical scenery and breath-taking coastline. Your destination is a beautiful botanical garden called the Garden of Eden. After a quick tour of manicured nature, you’ll descend into wilderness -- down 250 feet on a private switchback trail carved out of the hillside. You’ll then hike up a stream to 30 and 40-foot waterfalls with beautiful pools -- a perfect spot for lunch and a swim. Hotel Pick-Up is available for the Half-Day Hike for an additional charge (see below for pricing information/booking). Rated: Moderate, 1.5 miles
Full Day Hike: Maui's ultimate waterfall wonderland is the pristine Kipahulu Valley, a half-hour drive from the very Hawaiian town of Hana. You’ll hike along a national park trail that follows one of the most magnificent streams on Maui. Enjoy a network of pools and cascading waterfalls before finally reaching a secluded 40-foot waterfall. You’ll swim through four clear pools inside a canyon dripping with ferns and hanging vines (swimming is optional). After lunch at the top of a 200-foot falls, the hike continues, winding through dark forests of 60-foot bamboo that lead to a 400-foot waterfall. Rated: Moderate, 4.5 miles
The Menu: Your choice of either a turkey sandwich or a vegetarian garden burger, plus lots of organic fruit – bananas, pineapple, papaya and whatever else is in season.
