Kipahulu Area Trails (Oheo)

The Kipahulu area (also known as the Oheo Gulch and 7 Pools), with its beautiful streams, subtropical vegetation and rugged coastline, is one of the greatest treasures on Maui. The powerful culture and history of the area makes exploration even more meaningful. In Kipahulu, all trails start at the Visitor Center.

The Kipahulu area trails are located along the Pi'ilani Highway in East Maui. Visitors who plan to drive the Hana/Pi'ilani Highway should consider picking up a copy of our detailed Hana Highway Guidebook. The above text is an excerpt from our guidebook.
