This lovely church is known for its simple style and beautiful stained glass windows. Services were held in the area as early as 1888, but this church was not built until 1935 when the Kilauea Sugar Company deeded the land and provided the stone to build the church. The magnificent windows were made in England and were restored in 1968 to assure a long life.
The cemetery beside the church has graves dating back over 100 years. Many sites, however, have no headstone and the actual number of those buried here is unknown.
