World Botanical Gardens

This is on the rainy side of The Big Island. The drive around and to this garden is beautiful, and there is also a little rain forest you can visit. One of the most stunning waterfall settings in Hawaii is inside this garden also. The triple Umauma Falls is accessible for viewing inside the World Botanical Gardens. This is a relatively new garden, and the price is kinda steep. But the falls may be worth it.

Go 16 miles north of Hilo on the Hawaii Belt Road (Hwy 19). At Mile Marker 16, take the road inland. Turn right and park in the parking lot.
